Farm491, based at the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester, is a space for AgriTech innovators to grow and develop their business. As well as 491 hectares of land for research and testing, Farm491 provide high-spec facilities, access to historical farm data, business support, and also the chance to collaborate with academics. Farm491’s brand new Alliston Centre, named after the late Professor John Alliston, who was Emeritus Professor of Agriculture at the RAU, is a state of the art incubation hub where Farm491 members have access to open-plan co-working spaces, meetings rooms, hot-desking or private offices – ultimately creating a collaborative, entrepreneurial community.
At Farm491 we offer flexible membership options as we understand not every entrepreneur has the same needs. For YFC members, we would like to offer you a 10% discount on our virtual and flexible membership rates for 6 months. Virtual membership, at £45 a month for YFC members, is a great option for those who can rarely make it to Cirencester, but who still want to access guidance and support in developing your business. This also includes 20 hours a month hot-desking if you would like to spend some time here with us.
Flexible membership is offered to YFC members at £90 a month. This includes 20 hours a week of hot-desking, further guidance and support, and access to the university library.
Both membership options mean Farm491 will invite you to events, including shows, you will receive funding advice, and also promotion through our networks.
