Don’t forget the two After Show Dances!! On 18th August is Minsterley Show, I look forward to seeing lots of the Floats there and the Final of the Club Challenge.

Kicking off this month on Friday 3rd is the 8th Chairman’s Charity Challenge, the Clun Canter, a 5.2 multi terrain run around the Clun hills! It is open to all members so come and have a go, it’s just for fun! If running isn’t your thing how about a Canoe Challenge up the River Severn? There are only a couple more competitions to play for now for the Premier League: Press and Promotions and Club Challenge!

Plans are underway for this year’s Chairman’s Concert (Thursday 23rd August), and this year the theme is ‘The Best of 2018’. Please get in touch with Katie Williams who is heading up the organising of the concert to discuss your clubs idea for a performance. The Concert will be a great celebration of Shropshire YFC’s year, starting at 7pm with Drinks and Canapes – all members past and present, advisory, friends, family, sponsors and supporters are invited to join us.

At the end of the month (25th August) is our Chairman’s Ball, this year with the theme of “Under the Sea”. Please note due to licensing, this year we cannot allow under 18s at the Ball. Tickets go on sale soon!  Please spread the word about the Ball… one of the biggest YFC events in the COUNTRY!
