Shropshire members attend NFU AGM
NFU Chairman, Andy Pillow invited Shropshire Young Farmer Members to attend this year's Annual Open Meeting and Dinner with guest speaker Minette Batters, NFU Deputy President.
The event was held at The Wroxeter Hotel, Shrewsbury and the YFC members went along to give a strong representation from the next generation. Minette spoke on how the NFU is leading the way to deliver a bold and ambitious future for the UK agriculture sector post-Brexit. She also asked questions from the floor and gave time to speak to the YFC members at the end. Clarrie (County Chairman) did a speech on Shropshire YFC and Tom Sellers (Competitions Chairman) asked a question to Minette on behalf of the YFC.
Shropshire YFC would like to thank the NFU for the kind invitation, it was a fantastic evening and great to be involved!
