'How to run an Event' training
Tuesday evening saw the first of our evening Training sessions to members delivered by Dan Roberts, (Standing Vice-County Chairman) and Lil Davies, (Personal Development Chairman).
30 members from 18 Clubs in Shropshire attended the training on 'How to run an Event'. The evening was a great success with members making notes to report back their learning to clubs and a mock license applied for to show members how to prepare in advance.
Shropshire Young Farmers are very proud to be able to deliver training to members to help them in their roles for the year ahead. Next Tuesday evening is the first of our two Safeguarding training sessions which again will be delivered in-house by trained members.
The county has a Personal Development Committee which is headed up by Lil Davies. Tonight is the first meeting, 7.30pm at Shrewsbury Livestock Market. This committee is very important and allows members to give their say and shape future training within the county.
